By booking your dog/s in to Salty Paws Byron Bay you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the following:

Doggy Daycare:

 

Health - All dogs attending daycare must be desexed and up to date with their C5 vaccinations and flea/tick medication.

Liability - The client acknowledges that Salty Paws Byron Bay allows dogs to play and interact directly with one another off leash on our premises and down at the local dog beaches/parks. The client further acknowledges that due to this, injuries to pets may occur. The client agrees that Salty Paws Byron Bay will not be held liable for any injury or illness and expressly waives any and all claims against Salty Paws Byron Bay, or its employees for any loss, injury or illness to their pet or their property or while in the care of Salty Paws Byron Bay. Salty Paws Byron Bay agrees to provide services in a reliable, safe, sanitary and trustworthy manner.

Behaviour - Any dog that shows any signs of aggression towards humans or other dogs whilst at Salty Paws Byron Bay care will lose the privilege of attending. Your dog must not show any signs of resource guarding towards food/toys. Please note – your dog will be spending time with other breeds and sized dogs, and their safety and health is our main concern. If your dog bites or injures another dog or human whilst in our care, you agree to be fully liable for any such action and recourse. 

Under no circumstance is Salty Paws Byron Bay responsible for any injury, death, or contraction of illness/disease of any dog in our care.

Breeds - Salty Paws Byron Bay has made the decision to only accept small/medium sized breeds and will not accept any ‘bully/terrier’ breeds including American Bully, American Bulldog, American and English Staffordshire Terrier, Miniature Bull Terrier, Boston Terrier, Bull Terrier. Salty Paws Byron Bay reserves the right to refuse entry of any breed/pet it sees necessary. 
 

Grooming:

 

Matted/Knotted Coats - Coats with excessive Matts/Knots may incur an extra charge. Your desired groom may not be possible if your dog’s coat is matted or knotted. We do not brush out bad matts/knots as this is distressing for your fur baby and can scare them off future grooms. We'll cut/shave matts & knots out as neatly as possible to give your dog a fresh start.

 

Difficult to Groom Dogs - If your dog is difficult to groom I may not be able to complete your desired groom, however, I will endeavour to still make your fur baby beautiful. Extra charges may apply for additional grooming time.

 

Aggressive Dogs - Salty Paws Byron Bay reserves the right not to groom or complete the groom of dogs exhibiting aggressive behaviour. Charges may still apply.

 

Fleas - If your dog is found to have fleas a flea rinse will be applied and additional fee's will be charged.

Emergencies - In the event of an emergency, in your absence, you authorise Salty Paws Byron Bay to contact the nearest Veterinarian and authorise the Vet to treat the pet as necessary at your expense.

 

Pre-existing conditions - It is your responsibility as a pet owner to inform the groomer of any known pre-existing conditions.

 

Payment - Payment is to be made at the time of pick-up. Both cash and card payments are accepted.​

Grooming pick-up - You will receive a text message once your dog's groom is complete. I ask that dogs are picked up ASAP unless alternative arrangements have been made.

At Salty Paws Byron Bay we will always do our best to protect the health, wellbeing and safety of your dog whilst in our care. As the owner you acknowledge that accidents can and do happen and you hereby absolve Salty Paws Byron Bay from any and all responsibility involving, injury, escape, damage or disease during and after their grooming appointment.
